The Rotorua General Practice Conference and Medical Exhibition (GPCME) was hosted from the 20th – 23rd of June in association with the New Zealand Medical Association. This annual event provides a general practice update, with a goal to provide “short, sharp and to the point clinical content, including key take home messages to change practice behaviour immediately”.
The Hope For Hearts education portal aims to help primary physicians and other specialists identify, manage and treat structural heart disease. The campaign highlights short, simple and practical clinical information regarding patients with structural heart disease. The education is delivered by accredited Heart Team specialists, highlighting clinical signs, red flags for diagnosis and treatment options available at many hospitals across New Zealand.
This was a great opportunity for the Hope For Hearts campaign to further extend its reach and gain more interest among practitioners.
The exhibition gained significant attention at the event, and it was a great environment to spread awareness and meet and speak with over 200 Practitioners. Attendees pictured above.
Special thanks to all the practitioners who took the time to come and talk to us and to the team at Edwards Lifesciences for representing the Hope For Hearts program.
